inspired by... trenches from street fashion

Image 2: Tonbogirl
[im horrible, i dont have sources for these images. i love these street photographers, so much that i just drag into my folders in my desktop their photos in piles and piles at once that i forget to cite them. im sure some of you can understand :) if anyone remembers where these are from id love to credit them. please leave a comment, thanks]
update: Thanks, Tonbogirl for the source to image 2!

inspired by... a roll-top backpack

my inky dinky version of this backpack. but i made it a little less neat and less perfect looking i guess

a 15 dollar, 6 hour backpack made from the best vinyl faux leather the fabric store had (%40 with membership, score!) and stolen straps from old backpacks and purses. my poor sewing machine took a beating trying to sew through 2 or 3 layers of thick vinyl. i think it doesnt really show well on the photos but you couldnt tell if the material was real or not, its nice and thick and matte actually. ps. theres navy blue cotton lining on the inside too. fun project!

mismatched a little, i wish the two lamps weren't the same, and theres a little too much busy in there for me, but i love the idea of collecting things over time. not like a hoarder ofcourse but buying something in a store or in travels and being able to bring it home and use it beautifully, mm perfect
i have to post this again
